Hi Everyone - checkout our venue for NomadWeek Cape Town (25-31 Jan)! I've spent the last 3 weeks here and it's been AMAZING as always. October is spring time so the days are getting longer, and the weather is getting warmer by the day as we get closer to the Summer! Andrae and I have been hard at work getting everything setup for NomadWeek. If you haven't gotten your ticket yet, you def need to. Use Pangea50 for $50 off, valid for the next 30 days ONLY.
🚢 We've rented a 20 Bed House Boat to kickoff the Nomad Season (Jan 18-20)
🏖️ NomadWeek will be at the Glen Country Club in Camps Bay with AMAZING beach & mountain views
🍷 We've secured a compound of 5 villa (34 Bedrooms) for our Winelands Weekend Away (31 Jan - 01 Feb): Wine Tasting ➡️ Pool Party ➡️ Traditional Braai ➡️ Bonfire ➡️ [Optional] Stay Over
More on NomadWeek below!
I've been staying at Cape Coliving, an awesome 9 bedroom co-live in Greenpoint, just a few blocks from Burnt Clubhouse, Giovanis, and Green Point Park. The community is great, the house is super well lit, and all of the rooms have a solid workspace. My only note is that not all rooms have Air Con, though while I'm normally quite picky about this, it's been very cool in the evenings and hasn't been an issue so far. Overall it's a 10/10 co-living, and anyone new to Cape Town should consider it!
🇪🇹LAST CALL for Ethiopia (13-16 Nov)
I'm headed up to 🇸🇸 South Sudan tomorrow for a pre-trip with a handful of Grandmasters from MTP before their Summit in Addis Ababa next week (13 -16 November). They've got an incredible lineup of speakers, including the first person to ever travel to all 193 countries AND space, along with 30+ folks who have been to every country in the world. I always love joining their events because I'm be among the "least traveled" people in the room, which is always an amazing opportunity to learn about many off the beaten path destinations. They still have a few tickets available, you can snag yours here using PANGEA100MTP for $100 off. I'll be at the Hilton. If you're planning to join, be sure to DM me!
🏡🛳️ NomadSeason Houseboat (18-20 Jan)

We've rented a 20 person House Boat over MLK Weekend (Sun 18 Jan - Tue 20 Jan) just outside of Cape Town as our inaugural trip of this year's Nomad Season. This was the ONLY available weekend for the whole season, so I snagged it while we could. Bookings will open late next week to NomadSeason Pass Holders and are expected to sell out within 24hrs based on the high number of questions I've gotten already. If you have a NomadSeason pass, you'll get the email as soon as bookings open. If not, you can buy yours here. We'll be hosting more trips throughout Jan - Mar which will be announced over the next several weeks.

🇿🇦 NomadWeek Cape Town is shaping up
Andrae and I have been hard at work locking down logistics for NomadWeek Cape Town (January 25-31, 2026) which is shaping up nicely! The core event is confirmed to be at the Glen Country Club in Camps Bay, which has sweeping views of Lions Head, the Atlantic Ocean, Clifton AND Camps Bay beaches and the 12 apostles. We'll be able to co-work from the space during the week (with awesome views), and are working on opening up season access as a private co-work for our community. The event spans the full week, and is the perfect opportunity for ANYONE who wants to connect with other travelers & locals in Cape Town to come together for the ultimate community event. Most people aren't planning to take the full week off - and we've designed the event to accommodate everyone's schedules by offering experiences throughout the day and across Cape Town. We drastically cut back the number of speaker slots this year from 4 full days, to just 2 afternoons of talks to ensure they're all of the material is highly relevant and interesting to our audience. Most of the talks will consist of panels with several speakers who are experts in a similar topic, rather than a single presenter to keep things fresh. If you're interested in presenting, you can apply to be a speaker here. Full disclosure, we're already oversubscribed, and not all applicants will be selected.

🍷 Winelands Weekend Villa(s): 31 Jan - 1 Feb
NomadWeek will end with our Winelands Weekend Away (Sat 31 Jan - Sun -1 Feb) at an EPIC 34 Bedroom compound we've rented in the Winelands of Cape Town. The day will be the perfect opportunity for everyone from NomadWeek to connect and explore South Africa's famous wine country before relaxing at a beautiful venue. The day includes:
🍷 Morning Wine Tastings at a few of our favorite vineyards
👙 Pool Party with DJs all Afternoon
🐷 Traditional South African Braai
🔥 Evening Bon Fire
Optionally, you'll be able to stay the night in one of the 34 bedrooms across the 5 villas. Bookings will open next week with NomadSeason pass holders getting first priority on accommodation. Stay tuned.

🇿🇦 More About NomadWeek 🇿🇦

FAQs
Do I need to take the whole week off work? Nope! You can join what fits your schedule - there’s co-working every day, and plenty of flexible activities from morning to night. We know everyone is busy!
Can I buy tickets closer to the event? Maybe. Tickets often sell out before the final week, but many of our best add-on experiences will be sold out by then regardless. If you want to join for things like our epic Winelands Weekend away, it's best to get your ticket early! Plus, the PANGEA50 discount is only valid until 05 December, so if you know you’ll be in Cape Town you should grab it soon!
Who will be there? A mix of new and seasoned nomads aged 25- 45 (and up!). Last year, NomadWeek saw 40% of the attendees join from the local community, making it a great opportunity for Digital Nomads & Travelers to get our of our bubble and connect locally.
What’s the vibe? Open-minded, inspiring, and social. It’s all about learning, sharing, and making friends for life.
I'm super excited for the next few months, we have SO MUCH planned for the community at NomadWeek and beyond! We're also working hard on a very big update to the app (which I think might just be the biggest announcement in the Digital Nomad space of 2025... so stay tuned for that 👀)
Be sure to get your NomadWeek or NomadSeason ticket before we drop the side experiences, as I know they will sell fast, and are going to be epic. In case you needed any more reason to book Cape Town in January, you can see last nights sunset pic below 😎
See you in Cape Town!
