Our Summer Release (August 6th) is just 8 Days Away!

Our amazing team is hard at work getting everything finalized, and working closely with our incredible partners and ambassadors around the world as we organize meetups in more than 40 countries so we can celebrate this milestone with you all.

Important:

We’ve added meetups in several new cities & countries since last week including 🇬🇭 Ghana, 🇺🇬 Uganda, 🇳🇦 Namibia, 🇷🇸 Serbia, and 🇳🇱 Netherlands and have a handful more still in the works!

I’m also excited to announce that our 🇲🇽 Mexico City event will also be hosted at Outsite by Former RY City Manager & Pangea Ambassador, Omar who is also leading an awesome trip for Dia de Los Muertos in October!

And our 🇨🇦 Toronto Meetup is being led by long time Pangea Champion Sean who is teaming up with Safir from Global Nomad Pass.

As a veteran product manager of more than 10 years, the most frustrating thing for me has been using a sub-par version of Pangea over much of the last year.

We focused heavily on building the business by consolidating Overlap, Nomadago and Flaire, as a long term bet that the new combined company would be better positioned to compete in this notoriously difficult space for years to come.

The result of this hyper focus on growth was that we didn’t have bandwidth to do enough on the core app, one reason why you haven’t noticed many updates, and why lots of little annoying things haven’t been fixed (trust me they bother me too 😒)

The last 3 months has been a total focus back into organically building Pangea.

We scaled up our team, 10x’d our velocity by fully adopting AI into our build process, and executed on hundreds of backlog items ahead of this launch as we completely rebuilt the product.

Our Aug 6th release will be the most comprehensive and robust travel tracking app ever created, and lays the foundation for the full integration of Flaire’s $6.7m investment into rec sharing AI next quarter (plus another fun acquisition that I hope to announce next month 🤭).

A product is never “done” and there is so much more we plan to add after we launch, but I’m personally super proud of what we’ve built, and can’t wait to hear what you think!
